Goal
Transforming Onstudioz's website for a seamless user experience
Onstudioz onboarded Mikado to revamp their website with a focus on usability as their existing site was cluttered and difficult to navigate. The main objective was to declutter the site, provide a better user experience, improve functionality, and effectively showcase their services and rental solutions. The new design had to be visually appealing and highlight their services while facilitating easy event bookings and rental queries.
Challenges
Improving navigation, visual overload, booking functionality
Onstudioz's website took a hit from poor user experience due to excessive visual elements and a lack of easy navigation. The slow page load overshadowed the company's work and negatively affected the brands's online presence and rankings. Additionally, the website needed to integrate a booking facility for camera and other equipment rentals.
Design
Minimalism meets elegance for enhanced visual impact
To highlight the capabilities Onstudioz and enhance crawlability and user experience, Mikado adopted a minimalist design strategy. We used dark mode with white and red colors enhancing accessibility while providing the site a sleek and professional look. The visual elements on the site were placed strategically, giving prominence to their services and portfolio. Subtle animations were also added for better user engagement.
Web Development
Combining functional elements with user-centric features
Mikado also took care of the development part of the website. We used modern elements that improved page load time giving the site a better shot at improving search rankings. Features such as easy-to-use rental equipment booking were integrated, along with a user-friendly contact form to streamline inquiries. We made sure that the site was responsive and worked seamlessly on mobile devices.
